Actuarial Systems Developer

Oliver James are partnered with a leading insurer who are seeking the support of an experienced systems developer to design, build and implement end to end automation tools.

This is a UK based contract; you must live and pay tax in the UK to be considered.

Assignment: 12 month fixed term contract
Start: January (latest)
Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum (DOE) + 25% bonus
Location: London/ home working hybrid

Role: Designing, developing and implementing automation tools

Required skillset:

• Experience in a UK Life Insurer - crucial, applications without this cannot be considered
• Python coding (designing, developing and testing code-based solutions)
• Software engineering (designing, developing and testing code-based solutions)
• Knowledge of quantitative modelling methodologies
• Good understanding of SII and/or IFRS17
