Senior professional level role with 5+ years of subject matter expertise as a Scrum Master.
Typically, Scrum Masters at this level work with multiple teams at a time. Applies foundational Agile delivery knowledge to support team activities and contribute to Agile transformation efforts.
Participates in Agile ceremonies, assists in removing impediments, and promotes Agile principles to enhance team collaboration and delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Supports Agile delivery by participating in and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Provides input in identifying and escalating impediments that affect team progress.
  • Applies Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban to independently contribute to transformation efforts and support team processes.
  • Experience managing dependencies, risks, and delivery plans across multiple workstreams.
  • Navigate the organization to manage dependencies and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for ensuring Truist SDLC is appropriately followed.
  • Coach /mentor junior SMs, Team, POPM and stakeholders on Agile principles
  • Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to promote Agile principles and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze delivery metrics, team health indicators, predictability measures, and flow data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assists in the adoption and use of Agile tools and technologies.
  • Supports cross-functional collaboration to achieve delivery goals.
  • Continuously develops Agile knowledge and skills through learning and practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile delivery or related technical roles.
  • Basic understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience participating in Agile ceremonies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g. Rally).
  • Interest in continuous improvement and Agile methodologies.
  • Technical background or experience in software development or related fields.
  • Familiarity with driving AI adoption initiatives
