AI Engineer (f/m/d)

• Delivering AI and ML solutions that solve real business problems and create measurable value for teams across DCS
• Owning the journey from business problem to live product, and improving it continuously after launch
• Choosing the right approach for each business problem — whether deterministic automation, Machine Learning, Applied AI, agentic systems, or a combination of them
• Shaping how DCS builds and operates AI, from engineering principles and architecture to evaluation, observability and production standards
• Building the shared capabilities that let every team at DCS use AI faster and with more confidence

• Strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Applied AI and Python, with solid software engineering fundamentals
• Practical experience across the ML/AI product lifecycle, from data and modelling to deployment and monitoring
• Solid understanding of modern AI engineering principles and design patterns, including LLMs and agentic AI
• Pragmatic judgment in choosing the right technical approach for each business problem
• A strong sense of ownership and clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues
