Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Drywall)
Summary/Objective
Assist Project Managers in the coordination, management, and execution of commercial drywall construction projects. Ensures proper documentation, communication, and scheduling to support project success.
Primary Job Responsibilities

· Assist in reviewing project contracts, drawings, and specifications.
· Support material procurement and coordinate deliveries with vendors and field staff.
· Track and document change orders and cost impacts.
· Update project schedules and monitor progress.
· Assist with budget tracking and cost analysis.
· Prepare and distribute project documentation and reports.
· Coordinate with field personnel to support daily operations.
· Participate in client meetings and maintain professional communication.
Other Responsibilities
· Support safety compliance by helping ensure all site activities adhere to company safety standards.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
Competencies, Skills, Abilities, Qualifications
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
· Basic understanding of construction documents and terminology.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in both a professional office and construction site setting. The role may require visits to active construction sites with exposure to uneven terrain, varying weather conditions, and construction noise.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position may require long periods of sitting and looking at a computer screen, using the phone and other technology. Occasional walking through construction sites is required.
Expected Hours of Work
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility depending on project needs.
Travel
Some local travel to job sites is required, approximately 5%.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination or support roles.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be able to get a background check and drug test.
Work Authorization
Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Pay Transparency Statement
The salary range for this position is $75k - $95k a year (MidAtlantic Region). This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. As a result, starting pay may vary within the posted range.
