S&W’s Financial Reporting team, which sits within BOS, specialises in preparing complex accounts, conducting quality reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Job Specification S&W is seeking an Associate to join its Assurance and Business Services Team within the Business Outsourcing Services department in the Dublin. The Associate will be responsible for assisting client finance teams with their assurance and audit requirements at every stage of business growth, including major transactions and restructuring. The Associate's day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include: Working as part of a team to undertake a range of audit and accountancy assignments. Developing an understanding of S&W's clients, their businesses and the industries in which they operate. Assisting with client audit and assurance requirements. Keeping relevant colleagues and stakeholders informed of progress and key updates. Developing knowledge and proficiency in S&W's audit and accounting software. Assisting with the resolution of audit and accountancy queries. Prioritising tasks effectively and monitoring time against agreed budgets. Producing high-quality work in accordance with agreed timelines and professional standards. Working collaboratively with colleagues and client teams to support the successful delivery of client engagements. Professional Development Alongside their day-to-day responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their technical and professional skills through practical experience and professional training. The role will support the successful candidate in working towards an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) qualification and developing their knowledge of audit, assurance and accountancy. The successful candidate should have: Experience in an accountancy environment. A third-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, Business or a related discipline, with a minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent qualification. Be pursuing, or intending to pursue, an ACCA or CAI qualification. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good organisational and time management skills. The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
