Zagros Food Company Limited T/A Lapis Café & Bakery at 30 Princes Street, Cork is looking for 2 bakers to join our team.This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional with a passion for quality food and creativity. You will be responsible for baking with fresh ingredients ,ensuring high standards of food hygiene, and maintaining a well-organised, efficient kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as bake bread, sour dough,cakes and patisserie products etc. Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls, develop new recipes and products. Good knowledge of bread making required. Prepare, bake and finish products to a high standard, while using traditional artisanal methods to ensure only the finest quality products leave our bakery. Ability to cut and shape by hand.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years previous experience in similar capacity.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience in modern and busy kitchen environment.
• Good communication skills
• Salary: €36,606 per annum.
• Hours: 39 hours per week.
