MAIN DUTIES
- Lay bricks and concrete blocks to construct walls, partitions and other structures.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Set out brickwork and blockwork, ensuring accurate alignment, levels and dimensions.
- Prepare and apply mortar, cut materials and finish joints to the required standard.
- Work with site supervisors and other trades to complete work safely and efficiently.
- Load and prepare materials for bricklaying and blocklaying.
- Clean and snag brickwork and blockwork.
- Follow site health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy working area.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant experience in bricklaying and blocklaying.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and deliver work to a high standard.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Valid Safe Pass and any other training required for the role before commencing site work.
