Who you are:

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between stakeholders and development teams, translating complex client and user requirements into actionable user stories that drive our AI solution's evolution. You will collaborate with Product Management, federal clients, and end users in an agile environment to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, shaping features that support large language model deployment, AI-powered workflows, and enterprise integration.

What you do:

  • Elicit and analyze business and functional requirements from federal clients, end users, and stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and documentation review.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear, concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria for agile development teams.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily standups to support agile development processes.
  • Validate user story completion and ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria and stakeholder expectations.
  • Draft functional specifications, business requirements documents, process flows, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding of requirements and constraints.
  • Conduct gap analysis identifying differences between current state and desired future state capabilities.
  • Support user acceptance testing by developing test scenarios, coordinating testing activities, and documenting results.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and optimization.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize features based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder needs.
  • Document system functionality, user workflows, and integration requirements supporting both development and compliance activities.
  • Support demonstration and training activities by documenting features and creating user-facing materials.
  • Maintain requirements documentation ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with evolving project scope.
  • Facilitate requirements reviews and validation sessions with stakeholders to ensure alignment and approval.
  • Track requirements changes and manage scope through change control processes.
  • Support compliance documentation efforts by providing functional descriptions and requirements traceability for security authorization processes.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to translate complex requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with requirements documentation, gap analysis, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to analyze business processes for AI-driven solutions.
  • Experience working with large language model deployment and AI-powered workflows is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage evolving project scope and compliance documentation.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must currently possess an Active TS or higher level clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$91,300—$184,900 USD
