M&T Quality Furniture Ltd., trading as Komandor Limerick, located at Unit 2A, Recognition House, Walsh Business Park, Ballysimon Road, Limerick, V94 T62H, is currently recruiting 1 Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will work 39 hours per week, with a gross annual salary of €36,700, equivalent to €18.09 per hour. The main duties will include the manufacture, assembly and installation of bespoke furniture, cabinets, wardrobes and storage units; reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and specifications; measuring, marking, cutting, shaping and preparing timber, boards and other materials; assembling furniture components using appropriate tools, machinery, fittings and hardware; fitting doors, drawers, shelving, hinges and other fixtures; carrying out finishing work and adjustments to ensure a high standard of workmanship; inspecting completed items for accuracy, quality and compliance with specifications; carrying out repairs and modifications where required; maintaining tools, machinery and the work area in a safe and orderly condition; and working effectively as part of the production and installation team. Applicants must have relevant experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar furniture manufacturing role, with practical experience in the manufacture, assembly and installation of furniture and cabinetry. Applicants must also be able to read technical drawings, work accurately from measurements and specifications, use woodworking tools and machinery safely, and work effectively as part of a busy team.
