ShaleSim is CMG’s integrated fracture-to-production simulator for unconventional development, launched in June 2026.

It couples a new fracture simulator with CMG’s IMEX and GEM reservoir engines so that completions, reservoir, and geomechanics engineers can model every stage and well across a full pad – from fracture design through production forecasting – and carry the stress and depletion changes from producing wells into the design of child wells and refracs.
