As a Local Intermodal CDL-A Truck Driver, you haul containers between rail ramps and customer locations within roughly 300 miles, using a day cab.
You complete multiple dispatches per shift, handle a mix of live load and drop-and-hook freight, follow FMCSA and company safety standards, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and manage logs and paperwork.
Most shifts are 10–12 hours with scheduled 5-day weeks and home daily, with occasional overnights if delays occur.
