We Are Looking for Someone Who

• Has experience working as a chef in a hotel, restaurant, or similar environment

• Has experience with buffet service and larger groups

• Is structured and able to plan production efficiently

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Is flexible regarding working hours

• Has a positive attitude and takes pride in delivering good food

• Understands the importance of quality, efficiency, and cost control

• Speaks English or a Scandinavian language

What you'll be cooking

Our food concept ranges from generous breakfast buffets to evening buffets and set menus. We want every meal to be a welcoming part of the guest experience, with good flavours, thoughtful preparation and consistent quality.

Your work will include:

• Preparing and serving breakfast, dinner buffets and set menus.

• Contributing ideas to menus and helping establish kitchen routines.

• Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and organisation.

• Working with colleagues to keep service smooth and guests happy.

A winter in Skibotn --- and perhaps a summer in Lofoten

We arrange staff accommodation on site, where our seasonal team will live throughout the winter.

For the right candidates, there may also be an opportunity to continue into the summer season at our sister hotel, Live Lofoten in Stamsund. A winter in Skibotn could be the beginning of a longer journey with us.
