Op het Chemelot-terrein bouwt SABIC twee nieuwe fabrieken om plastic afval om te zetten in gezuiverde pyrolyse-olie, een hernieuwbare grondstof voor naftakrakers.
De Hydrotreater-installatie is de eerste in zijn soort wereldwijd en richt zich op het verwijderen van verontreinigingen uit pyrolyse-olie.
