Clearing Full Stack Developer

Overview

In this role you will join a greenfield transformation to build a brand-new Asset Servicing platform, replacing legacy systems. You will work across a modern stack in a hybrid London setup, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. The role blends front-end and back-end work across microservices, BFF, and MFE architectures, with a focus on delivering a robust enterprise platform. You’ll shape architecture decisions and support migration away from existing platforms, contributing to a high-impact program in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver functionality across the full technology stack.
• Build modern user interfaces using Angular, with React experience also considered.
• Work within a Micro Front End (MFE) architecture.
• Develop Backend for Frontend (BFF) services using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Design and develop backend services using Java and microservices architecture.
• Support the migration from Java 8/11 towards Java 21/23.
• Develop and integrate solutions using MS SQL Server.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
• Support the replacement and migration away from existing legacy and vendor platforms.

Key requirements

• Strong commercial Full Stack Development experience.
• Angular development experience preferred; React also considered.
• Experience with Micro Front End architectures.
• TypeScript / Node.js experience, ideally within a BFF setup.
• Strong Java development experience, ideally Java 8/11 with exposure to newer versions.
• Experience developing microservices-based applications.
• Strong relational database experience, ideally MS SQL Server.
• Experience on complex enterprise-scale applications.
