Description
Job overview The post holder is a member of the Clinical Coding Team who translate medical information (diagnoses and interventions) from patient’s electronic record to assign appropriate clinical codes using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications.
This information must be timely, complete and accurately recorded.
It is required for cost analysis, invoicing CCGs, treatment effectiveness and outcome measurements.
