Cloud Backend Architect – Secure Web & API Systems

eGlue Technologies Srl invites Software Engineers to join our cloud and systems team in Italy. You will design and implement secure, high-performance web applications and backend systems, leveraging C# / .NET and Azure while emphasizing architectural vision over specific tools.

Key duties include designing scalable client-server architectures, RESTful APIs, securing data transport, and making cloud-ready architectural choices for big data and systems integration.

Design robust software architectures for web and backend platforms. Manage networking communications (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, WebSockets) between client and server components. Apply security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, secure API design). Analyze bottlenecks and optimize architectural performance. Participate in technical design reviews and Agile alignment meetings. Strong foundation in computer science engineering with focus on networking, web mechanics, client-server architectures, and security principles. Experience designing and implementing secure, high-performance web applications and backend systems.
