Community Service Officer

Description Under supervision of the Community Services Supervisor, performs a wide variety of nonhazardous police and law enforcement duties, including tele-service, staffing of the department complaint desk, and responding to Patrol-based calls for service.

This class is characterized by the use of independent judgment in responding to non-emergency situations.

Requires proven Customer Service skills.
