Consultant Java Backend Developer Toronto

Lead Java backend development for CIBC’s ECIS team in Toronto, focusing on application design, integration, and strategic planning.

As a Consultant Java Backend Developer, you will work with senior teams across multiple Enterprise Customer Information Services applications. You will lead technical design, development, and integration while coordinating complicated programming activities. Your work will include Java, microservices, REST APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design technical infrastructure for ECIS applications
• Coordinate complicated application programming activities
• Lead development of innovative backend solutions

Requirements:

• Five to eight years of relevant experience
• Experience with Java, J2EE, microservices, and REST APIs

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or technical discipline
