Controls Features Propulsion System Architect

Job Description

  • Responsible for analysis and decomposition of propulsion controls features across the Propulsion System domain.
  • Collaborate closely with Controls Managers and Product Managers to identify impacted controls features for new and existing propulsion programs.
  • Coordinate with Controls Managers to ensure all Level 1 (L1) requests are properly created, captured, and maintained for new and modified features across propulsion programs.
  • Identify impacted teams within the Propulsion Vehicle Controls organization for each L1 request and release the appropriate capabilities to enable downstream execution.
  • Lead feature impact analysis and provide recommendations for partitioning functionality into the appropriate electronic control modules, systems, subsystems, and software components across all Stellantis propulsion system development programs.
  • Participate in standard cross‑functional forums, including the Propulsion Capability Board and Propulsion Architecture & Intent meetings, to drive technical alignment and decision‑making on a weekly basis.
  • Effectively use the ALM process to document all feature impact analysis results for each submitted feature across propulsion programs.
  • Support Systems and Controls Centers of Excellence (COEs) by contributing to high‑level requirements definition through structured impact analysis.
  • Participate in advanced development activities to assess system‑level impacts and inform future propulsion architectures.
  • Actively participate in Agile development ceremonies, including quarterly Development and Release Planning (DRP) events.
