Country Manager Francia - Food & Beverage
The Company
Our client is a long-established Italian company with a strong international presence, active in the development and commercialization of proprietary solutions for the Food & Beverage sector.
The company operates across numerous international markets through local subsidiaries and distribution partners and is currently pursuing further development across key European markets.
For France, we are looking for a Country Manager responsible for the overall management and development of the local business.
Location: Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur
The Role
The Country Manager France will have overall responsibility for the country, with a mandate focused on business growth, commercial development and improvement of financial performance.
The position offers the opportunity to lead a sizeable market with further growth potential, directly contributing to commercial strategies, channel development, new customer acquisition and the consolidation of relationships with key partners and strategic accounts.
The role includes direct responsibility for the country P&L, the definition of commercial priorities and the leadership of a local organization of approximately 20 people, ensuring the achievement of revenue, margin and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
·Define and implement the country development strategy in line with Group objectives.
·Manage the subsidiary P&L, with responsibility for revenue, margins, costs, budget and profitability.
·Lead the development of a business currently generating approximately €10 million in annual revenue.
·Identify new growth opportunities, customers, channels and commercial partnerships.
·Strengthen the company’s presence across the Ho.Re.Ca., HOO and professional foodservice channels.
·Develop and consolidate relationships with key accounts, distributors, wholesalers and strategic partners.
·Directly manage key negotiations and high-impact commercial opportunities.
·Define commercial policies, pricing strategies and development priorities according to the dynamics of the French market.
·Prepare budgets, forecasts and commercial plans, monitoring performance and acting on the main performance drivers.
·Lead and develop a local organization of approximately 20 people, defining objectives, priorities and responsibilities.
·Ensure effective integration between commercial activities and the other functions of the subsidiary.
·Monitor competitors, market trends, channel evolution and customer needs.
·Ensure regular reporting on the country’s financial and commercial performance.
·Collaborate with the international Headquarters on development strategies, marketing initiatives and new product launches.
Candidate Profile
·Solid experience in Country Management, General Management, Sales Management or Business Development roles within the French market.
·Proven experience in commercial development and B2B business growth.
·Direct experience in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and margin management.
·Experience in the Food & Beverage, HOO, Ho.Re.Ca. or professional foodservice sectors.
·In-depth knowledge of the French market and its distribution dynamics.
·An established network among distributors, wholesalers, hospitality groups and key accounts will be considered a strong advantage.
·Significant experience in managing and developing structured teams.
·Ability to combine strategic vision with a direct presence in the market.
·Strong focus on business development, results and profitability.
·Strong negotiation, leadership and commercial relationship management skills.
·Native or fluent French and fluent English.
Compensation
Indicative gross annual salary: up to €120,000, depending on the candidate’s seniority and experience.
