Cover Supervisor — Tamworth
A teacher’s absence shouldn’t mean a lesson loses direction.
Revolve Collective is recruiting Cover Supervisors interested in secondary school opportunities in the Tamworth area. Our partner-school list includes secondary provision in Dordon, near Polesworth.
You’ll supervise lessons using work set by the teacher, explain instructions and keep pupils focused. You’ll manage behaviour in line with school procedures, take registers as required and leave clear feedback about work completed and any concerns.
Take the lead in the classroom
Relevant experience includes: * Leading or supervising groups of secondary-aged young people. * Classroom support, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching or similar direct work with young people. * Setting expectations, keeping a group engaged and responding to challenging behaviour. * Clear communication and an understanding of safeguarding.
You’ll need sound judgement about when to handle a situation yourself and when to involve school staff.
