Credit Controller – Property | Leeds City Centre | £30,000 + Bonus Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new opportunity within an established property business? We are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a busy finance team based in Leeds City Centre, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of accounts. The Role

You will be responsible for managing outstanding debt, building strong relationships with customers and internal teams, and ensuring payments are collected in line with agreed terms. Key responsibilities will include: Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts

Proactively chasing outstanding debt by telephone and email

Monitoring aged debt and reducing overdue balances

Investigating and resolving payment queries and disputes

Building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

Allocating payments and maintaining accurate account records

Producing aged debt reports and providing updates on collection activity

Working closely with the wider finance and property teams to resolve issues We are looking for someone with previous Credit Control or Sales Ledger experience who is confident managing their own workload and communicating with customers.

You'll need to be: Confident and professional when dealing with customers

Comfortable having conversations around overdue payments

Organised with strong attention to detail

Proactive and able to manage a busy ledger

A good communicator with a professional approach

Confident using Excel and finance systems

Previous property or tenant debt experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential. What's on Offer? £30,000 salary plus bonus
