Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: L1 / L2 (Junior to Mid-Level), 5-7 years

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive L1/L2 Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to provide day-to-day security support, monitor and manage critical security technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect our organization’s digital assets. In this role, you will serve as a frontline defender, handling routine security operations, incident triage, endpoint protection, and tool administration.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day cybersecurity support to the organization.
  • Monitor, manage, and support security tools and technology from a security standpoint.
  • Work closely with MSSP / SIEM for incident management and escalations.
  • Support network and perimeter security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, etc.).
  • Support endpoint security and endpoint protection (EDR/AV).
  • Support data loss prevention (DLP).
  • Support cloud security (Google Workspace, Google Cloud, SaaS, AWS).
  • Support O365 security.
  • Assist in VAPT, remediation tracking, and corrective action.
  • Assist in security incident handling and coordination.
  • Support identity and access management (day-to-day operations).
  • Monitor security changes, patches, and configuration compliance.
  • Work with IT and business teams on security initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and reporting.

Must Have Skills & Technical Experience:

Candidates must possess hands-on knowledge and experience with the following platforms and tools:

  • Delinea, Proofpoint, Threat Locker, Netskope, Sentinel One, CISCO Meraki, Fortinet
  • Active Directory & GPO, Fortinet firewall, Okta, Google Cloud Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, Mobile Device Management

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical work experience).

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of total experience in an Information Security support role including 4+ years of hands-on cybersecurity operations experience.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC, CISSP or equivalent security certifications.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills combined with clear technical communication and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
