Employer: Garnamanagh Dairies Limited Location: Garnamanagh, Freshford, Co.Kilkenny Salary: €36,605 per annum Hours: 39 hours per week Position: Full-time Garnamanagh Dairies is a progressive family-run dairy located in Freshford, Co.Kilkenny. We milk approximately 300 cows using modern farming practices and are seeking a reliable and motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team. Main Duties · Milking cows · Animal health and welfare · Calf rearing · Feeding livestock · Fencing and general farm maintenance · Maintaining a clean and safe working environment · Any other farm duties appropriate to the role Essential Requirements · Previous dairy farming experience · Good understanding of livestock handling and welfare · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Good level of spoken and written English · Full driving licence preferred but not essential Benefits · Salary of €36,605 per annum · Full-time position – 39 hours per week · On-farm accommodation available · Friendly working environment Please apply to the vacancy by the following means: [email protected]
