At Blue, we discover pathways to realize your possibilities! Our Marketing & Member Date Analyst serves as the central data engine and strategic advisor for marketing, member experience, and institutional growth. This high-impact role blends quantitative data engineering (SQL querying, audience file generation, dashboard design) with qualitative member journey analytics (survey sentiment, engagement drivers). The analyst translates complex metrics into clear narrative strategies, presenting actionable recommendations to senior leadership to address root causes and optimize institutional ROI.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Enforce validation protocols, data hygiene, and regulatory compliance (GLBA, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, Fair Lending); automate recurring data extractions to reduce manual friction and accelerate campaign go-to-market cycles
  • Member Journey, Behavioral & Predictive Analytics: Integrate quantitative core data (product penetration, interchange volumes, digital adoption) with qualitative sentiment (NPS, member effort scores, onboarding feedback) to assess full member lifecycle dynamics; conduct root-cause analyses on acquisition, cross-sell propensity, deposit elasticity, and attrition/dormancy risks. Build Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn) workflows for exploratory analysis, persona clustering, and predictive conversion modeling; design and measure A/B and multivariate campaign tests with clear attribution (acquisition cost, ROAS, portfolio growth, lifetime value).
  • Enterprise Dashboard Architecture & Semantic Data Modeling: Architect and maintain interactive enterprise dashboards and semantic data models in Power BI (advanced DAX, Power Query) or Tableau to monitor institutional KPIs, campaign effectiveness, and operational touchpoints. Partner cross-functionally (Retail Branches, Lending, Wealth Management, etc) to translate ambiguous business questions into automated reporting solutions; maintain data dictionaries, audience logic, reporting catalogs, and lineage documentation.
  • Executive Advisory & Strategic Data Storytelling: Synthesize findings into compelling executive-level presentations, visual scorecards, and narrative business cases for Senior Leadership and Committee review. Serve as internal strategic consultant to department heads, providing data-backed recommendations on product design, pricing sensitivity, branch operations, and member retention; champion self-service dashboard adoption and metrics interpretation across the organization.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
