Description
Data Engineer required for a long-term engagement with competitive rates, supporting the development and enhancement of data solutions. Hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite in the West Midlands, working primarily with Talend and Oracle RDS.
SC Clearance preferred; candidates with BPSS can start while SC is progressed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Talend ETL jobs
- Develop Oracle SQL and DDL
- Enhance GitLab pipelines
- Investigate and resolve defects
- Support testing, production releases and warranty activities
- Create test data and component test packs
- Support performance testing and QA activities
- Review code and mentor junior engineers
Skills & Experience
- SC Clearance preferred
- Talend experience preferred
- Strong Oracle RDS and SQL experience
- GitLab/CI/CD experience
- Testing and production support experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Open to candidates based in Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Cannock and Birmingham.
