Data Engineering Associate Toronto

Toronto data engineering work awaits at TD, where you will analyze data and develop ETL jobs using standard tools. This role is based in Toronto, Ontario.

As a Data Associate in Technology Solutions, you will assess data management requirements for a Platform or Journey. You will work with data models, business rules, governance, lineage, metadata, and data lifecycle management. Under senior guidance, you will support acquisition, ingestion, development, testing, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis and assess data management requirements
• Develop and maintain ETL jobs using standard tools
• Support data acquisition, ingestion, development, and testing teams
• Maintain metadata, lineage, governance, and data lifecycle practices
• Interpret data and support partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate in Data Management
• Related Computer Science or Engineering education is applicable
• Basic knowledge of data engineering frameworks and technologies
• Basic knowledge of TD applications, systems, and standards
• Ability to perform simple technical tasks independently
