Data Engineering Technical Lead AI

Build AI-ready data structures and semantic layers for Cloudbeds, working remotely across LATAM and Canada with Snowflake, dbt, and Python.

This Tech Lead Data Engineer and Data Architect shapes the platform supporting hospitality analytics across Cloudbeds. You will architect access patterns for AI agents, automated LLM workflows, and machine learning pipelines. The hands-on leadership remit also includes modeling, pipeline engineering, MLOps, governance, and technical mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect semantic layers and structures for AI readiness
• Own logical and physical modeling across data products
• Drive MLOps workflows and data pipeline discipline
• Guide Analytical Engineers through reviews and planning
• Evaluate tools, frameworks, and architecture patterns

Requirements:

• Senior hands-on experience as engineer, architect, or tech lead
• Exposure to AI agents, feature stores, and semantic models
• Advanced dbt macros, models, packages, and testing
• Strong Python and expert analytical SQL capabilities
• Ability to explain trade-offs and mentor teammates
