Data Operations Engineering Manager CI Financial

Lead Data Operations engineering, automated testing, and incident management at CI Financial while onsite four days weekly. Shape dependable data services across an enterprise ecosystem.

As Manager, Data Operations, you will coach engineers and developers while improving automation-first practices for pipelines, transformations, testing, deployment, and monitoring. The role requires Snowflake, CI/CD, orchestration, SQL, Python, cloud platforms, and observability experience. You will also support data quality, controls, audits, and scalable architecture collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop Data Operations engineers and developers
• Embed automated testing and validation into data pipelines
• Drive continuous improvement after outages and quality issues
• Coordinate non-production data refreshes and environment management
• Partner on scalable, cost-efficient, resilient platform architectures

Requirements:

• Seven-plus years in data engineering or Data Operations
• At least two years leading or managing teams
• Proven CI/CD experience for data workflows
• SQL and Python proficiency for technical design guidance
• Experience with Snowflake and AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Use engineering leadership, automation, data quality, and incident expertise to advance CI Financial’s Data Operations capability.
