Data Scientist – Snowflake & Database Administration (ID: 4136)

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will

• Design, develop, and manage scalable data analytics and data warehousing platforms.
• Administer, configure, monitor, and optimize Snowflake environments and associated databases.
• Develop and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to modern data platforms.
• Design, implement, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure efficient data processing.
• Manage and optimize Oracle databases, ensuring performance, availability, and reliability.
• Perform PostgreSQL database administration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Implement data quality, data integrity, and data security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.

What You Bring to the Table

• 6–8 years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake architecture, administration, and optimization.
• Mandatory experience in Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA).
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL administration and database management.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data migration, and data quality management.
• Good knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud networking.

You should possess the ability to

• Design and maintain scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Perform Oracle database administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases and resolve database-related issues.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for efficient data integration.
• Plan and execute complex data migration activities from legacy systems.
• Monitor data pipelines and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate solutions.
