Introduction & Summary

This is an opportunity for a skilled Deputy Project Manager to support the execution of the RACF Access Control, Onboarding & Clean-up track. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in managing projects within regulated environments, particularly in banking and financial services. Key responsibilities include driving progress, managing stakeholder engagement, and implementing automation opportunities to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

The Deputy Project Manager will oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones. Responsibilities include:

  • Support and act as a deputy to the RACF Project Leader in planning and executing project activities.

  • Drive progress across Business Delivery teams.

  • Facilitate daily project team meetings and workshops.

  • Maintain documentation, action, and decision logs.

  • Track project risks and escalate issues as needed.

  • Prepare status reports and presentations for management.

  • Manage project governance processes.

  • Identify and recommend automation opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience managing projects in banking or financial services.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong skills in project delivery and obstacle resolution.

  • Experience with process improvement and automation.

  • Understanding of project governance and risk management.

  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM).

  • Familiarity with RACF or mainframe security environments.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Analytical problem-solving mindset.

  • Results-oriented with attention to detail.

  • Experience with complex project delivery in regulated industries.
