About the role

We’re searching for a passionate and talented Design Intern to join our Marketing team in Milan.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shadow, learn, and assist the team in:

  • Designing marketing materials, including social templates, brochures, digital leaflets, and other sales collateral
  • Supporting day-to-day design needs across the Empatica website, print, and digital materials
  • Helping ensure the visual identity of the Empatica brand is consistently and coherently applied across all touchpoints
  • Assisting in preparing polished, print-ready design files for production
  • Supporting the design of materials for campaigns, product launches, and events as needed

Requirements

You are the ideal person for the Design Internship role if you have:

  • A completed degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a relevant field, with a strong focus on graphic and communications design
  • An understanding of design principles and tools such as Figma and Adobe suite
  • Good design and aesthetic skills as well as analytical mindset. You are able to apply good design practices across a wide range of projects, from web to print
  • Some experience working with branding and brand guidelines
  • An inherent ability to think in systems
  • A passion for Empatica’s products and mission
  • Resilience, a get-things-done attitude, and an innate desire to do great work
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Italian not needed)
  • Nice-to-have: Some video experience
  • Some previous experience as a designer is appreciated

Benefits

For this role, the salary range is up to €1,200 gross per month (€650 if part-time). The final offer is determined on the basis of objective, gender-neutral criteria: relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and the scope of responsibilities associated with the position.
