Designer II - Site Development

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Designer with keen attention to detail to join our Site Development team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of established industry design standards to support the project team in preparing models, plans, and drawings for key components such as utilities, pavement, and earthwork.
• Create detailed construction plan drawings for site development projects, ensuring compliance with agency permitting and approval processes with minimal supervision.
• Create detailed surfaces utilizing survey data for accurate earthwork calculations and comparisons.
• Prepare quantity take-offs from conceptual and final construction plans.
• Identify and resolve technical issues using sound judgment, creativity, and innovation.
• Provide regular updates to Project Managers and communicate any design-related concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior designers to complete tasks within specified timelines and budget constraints.
• Mentor and train CAD Technicians to improve team capabilities and ensure quality output.
• Additional duties as assigned.
