Description
Position: Technical Analyst/Writer
Location: Washington, D.C.
Work Environment: Remote
Clearance Required: Public Trust
Status: Funded
Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000
Knowesis is currently seeking an exceptional Technical Analyst/Writer to provide technical analysis, written communications, documentation, and deliverable development support to government, technical, and project teams. The Technical Analyst/Writer will assist with collecting and organizing information, analyzing existing training and communications materials, developing and editing client deliverables, and preparing clear, professional reports, presentations, summaries, and other technical products.
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have the ability to obtain Public Trust and possess U.S. Citizenship without the need for sponsorship, both now and in the future. Applicants without proof of U.S. Citizenship will not be considered due to the position’s security clearance requirements.
The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in collecting and organizing information for the preparation of written documents, reports, and deliverables.
- Assist with analysis of existing training and communications materials.
- Edit client deliverables and documents for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and quality.
- Prepare clear, professional reports, summaries, presentations, and technical deliverables using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Develop data tables, visuals, and other supporting materials for presentations and written deliverables.
- Translate complex concepts and information into clear, professional-grade reports and stakeholder-ready presentations tailored to different audiences.
- Ensure accuracy and quality across all written products and deliverables, including literature reviews, data interpretation, and other analytical outputs.
- Coordinate with government stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to gather information and refine deliverables.
- Collaborate effectively with government, technical, and project teams to support the development of high-quality client-facing products.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant writing and analysis experience.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, professional-grade reports and stakeholder-ready presentations tailored to different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality reports, documentation, and deliverables that meet professional and client-facing standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy in literature reviews, data interpretation, and deliverable development.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with government stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for preparing high-quality presentations, data summaries, written deliverables, data tables, and visuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Military Health programs or initiatives.
