Description GENERAL PURPOSE Performs a variety of journey level skilled tasks related to the maintenance, service, repair, and rebuilding of light or heavy-duty mechanized vehicles, engines and equipment, and landfill equipment maintenance program.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works under the general guidance and direction of the Fleet Maintenance Superintendent.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED May provide close supervision to less experienced mechanic(s) on a project-by-project basis.
