Founding AI Engineer and Data Systems

Build AI agents and data systems at ChatFeatured, working remotely across the US or Canada with preference for Toronto or Ottawa. Own foundational product surfaces end-to-end.

As Founding Engineer, you will shape technical direction while building agents, analytics pipelines, and customer-facing features. You will work with TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, ClickHouse, and Cloudflare services. The work spans data engineering, software engineering, and reliable production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable AI agents for content generation and analytics
• Build durable ETL pipelines from prompts to queryable analytics
• Develop product features across data models and customer interfaces
• Ship content publishing systems that improve brand visibility
• Set engineering patterns through pragmatic architecture decisions

Requirements:

• Experience building production AI agents and orchestration
• Strong systems, data structures, concurrency, and tradeoff fundamentals
• Comfort blending data engineering with software engineering
• Experience with ClickHouse or similar columnar analytics systems
• Experience with durable workflow orchestration technologies
