Description

Make the best reviews accessible to everyone

We're building a platform that helps hundreds of thousands of UK consumers choose the right product. Want to help shape how it's done? Great — we're looking for you.

Perks & Benefits

  • Remote: Work from your home office, a co‑working space or a terrace in Lisbon.
  • Flexible hours: We measure output, not attendance. Early bird or night owl — adapt to whatever works for you.
  • Wellness allowance: £500 per year to spend on whatever keeps you energised — gym, running, climbing, padel.
  • Best possible tools: AI assistants, Figma, Notion, Slack.

Our Principles

  1. Do it properly or not at all
  2. Show your cards
  3. The reader decides
  4. Be curious, be uncomfortable

About the Role

Full‑time Remote / London. You research, compile and write best‑in‑test guides covering audio, video, smart home and other consumer electronics. Each guide is based on data from multiple test sources — your job is to make the information clear and useful.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high‑quality, SEO‑optimised review guides.
  • Plan and prioritise guides to maximise organic growth.
  • Improve website performance, UI and new features using Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team on site architecture and user experience.
  • Maintain and optimise the site for Core Web Vitals and performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience with product reviews, tech journalism or similar.
  • Strong interest in consumer technology and new products.
  • Flawless English: write clearly, correctly and engagingly.
  • Ability to explain complex topics without making them dull.
  • At least 2 years' experience with React/Next.js in production.
  • Comfortable with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
  • Bonus: SEO‑optimised rendering and Core Web Vitals experience.
  • Demonstrable SEO experience with measurable traffic growth.
  • Understanding of the UK search market and consumer behaviour.
  • Data‑driven mindset: comfortable working with Search Console, Ahrefs or similar.
