Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will build and maintain quantitative models and analytical tools using Python and React. You’ll collaborate with researchers and traders to translate requirements into robust software that supports trading strategies and backtests. You will analyse data, optimise performance, and contribute to development processes and infrastructure while maintaining documentation. This role offers exposure to quantitative finance in a global firm and opportunities to grow technical and domain expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain quantitative models and analytical tools
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to implement new trading strategies
• Analyse data, backtest models and strategies
• optimise systems for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain documentation
• Improve knowledge of quantitative finance and technology
• Contribute to development process and infrastructure improvements

Key requirements

• Strong full stack development skills with Python and React
• Experience in a finance environment and understanding of financial markets and trade lifecycle
• Comfortable with AI and agentic coding techniques
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with portfolio managers and front office traders
• Bachelor in STEM (2.1 or above)
