Our client is an investment firm.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and maintain internal software tools while working alongside an investment team on technical evaluations. The role blends hands-on engineering with exposure to the business side of the firm and regular contact with founders and partners.

What you'll do

- Build and maintain internal software, including customer relationship management and portfolio tracking tools.

- Partner with the investment team to carry out technical due diligence on new opportunities.

- Assess technical candidates for partner organizations.

- Help early-stage companies work through difficult engineering challenges.

- Develop a strong professional network among founders, investors and senior executives.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Engineering experience at a top-tier startup.

- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

- Ability to work in a cloud environment, ideally GCP.

- A technical degree from a highly regarded university.

- Proof of work product, such as a GitHub profile or personal website.

- Strong drive to make an impact and to learn the investment business.

- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

- Ability to communicate effectively with founders and partners.

- Roughly 2 to 6 years of relevant experience.

Bonus points

- Prior experience as a founder.
