Job Description About the unit 2 South is a 41-bed Orthopedic/Progressive unit at Butterworth Hospital.

2 South cares for medical patients as well as some surgical patients.

As a team member on 2 South, you will see a wide variety of patients.

Some of those diagnoses include Orthopedic Trauma, Ortho Oncology, Hip & Spine Fractures, Spine Surgery, where the other population is Progressive Care and Med/Surg overflow.
