In this role, you’ll contribute to the design of high-performance mixed-signal and FPGA-based embedded systems used in cutting-edge medical technologies. You will work across the full product lifecycle — from architecture and design through board bring-up, system integration, validation, and release — while collaborating closely with firmware, mechanical, and product development teams

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Design and develop mixed-signal embedded hardware systems, including schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout.
  • Prototype proof-of-concept designs and perform board bring-up, troubleshooting and hardware validation.
  • Participate in system architecture, requirements definition, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with embedded firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and product teams.

  • Experience with schematic capture, schematic symbol & footprint creation, preferably using Altium ECAD.
  • Experience with multi-layer PCB layout, preferably 8+ layers.
  • Practical, hands-on experience validating and debugging hardware using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other equipment.
  • Capable of hand soldering small SMD components (0402 and QFNs) and reworking boards by cutting traces and adding fly-wires.
  • Strong understanding of digital and power circuit design, including SPI, LVDS, DDR3/DDR4, and PoE++.

ADDITIONAL STRENGTHS:

  • Experience with CMOS global shutter image sensors and AMD Xilinx MPSoC-based systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and system-level problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven and collaborative, with strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
