MIBL provides a wide range of financial services to institutional investors including depositary, custody, fund administration, and other banking-related services.
MIBL now has an opening in its Finance Department for a:
Head of Regulatory Reporting - (CDI)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   (Ref: MIBLHRR_092026)
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage all activities relating to the Regulatory Reporting function.
• Ensure the timely, accurate and complete preparation, review, and submission of all regulatory reports.
• Oversee the regulatory reporting calendar and ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines.
• Maintain appropriate governance, controls, reconciliations, validations, and escalation processes for regulatory reporting activities.
• Provide advice, management information and escalation on regulatory reporting matters, risks, and issues to the Head of Finance and General Management.
• Act as the primary contact for regulatory reporting matters with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage FINREP reporting requirements for the CSSF and CBI.
• Manage prudential reporting under the applicable CRR framework, including COREP, LAREX, LCR, NSFR and other regulatory returns.
• Manage statistical reporting requirements to the Banque centrale du Luxembourg (BCL).
• Coordinate regulatory surveys, information requests and ad hoc reporting required by competent authorities.
• Participate in regulatory, system and Bank-wide projects impacting regulatory reporting requirements (OneSumX migration, IFRS 18 implementation, etc.).
• Coordinate testing, validation and implementation of new reporting requirements, system upgrades, and reporting solutions.
• Provide regulatory reporting expertise for system migrations, data mapping, testing, reconciliation, and validation activities
• Investigate and resolve reporting, calculation, and data quality issues with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in the production of Regulatory reports.
• Assist the Head of Finance Department during the statutory audit of the Bank, by providing external auditors with the necessary supporting documents.
• Establish and maintain robust controls over reporting data, interfaces, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate corrective actions, report resubmissions and related regulatory communications where required.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, audit trails, policies, procedures and working instructions.
• Supervise and manage Regulatory Reporting staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and allocate responsibilities within the team.
• Ensure appropriate segregation of duties, knowledge transfer, and business continuity.
• Promote staff motivation, training, and professional development.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Required Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of FINREP, COREP, CRR/CRD, Basel, IFRS and EBA requirements.
• Good knowledge of CSSF, BCL and CBI reporting frameworks.
• Experience with regulatory reporting systems, preferably OneSumX/RRH.
• Experience in regulatory change, system implementation, and transformation projects.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• People management and stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to reporting accuracy.
• Fluent English, written and spoken. French is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
• French is an advantage.
