Internship Probabilistic Risk Informed Design Methodology for SMR AMR Design

You will familiarize yourself with probabilistic safety assessment methods and tools. You will review internal Risk-Informed Design work, apply the methodology to new SMR and AMR design cases, incorporate feedback from safety engineers, and prepare a report on the developments and results.

Responsibilities

• Learn probabilistic safety assessment methods and tools
• Review internal Risk-Informed Design work
• Apply and improve the Risk-Informed Design methodology on new SMR and AMR design cases
• Incorporate feedback from probabilistic safety assessment engineers
• Prepare a report on developments and results

Requirements

• Be pursuing a Bac+5 engineering degree or equivalent university qualification with a specialization in nuclear engineering, risk management, dependability, or equivalent
• Know dependability principles
• Have interest in risk-analysis methods and probabilistic approaches
• Have operational English
• Have fluent French
