IT Manager
London/Hybrid
The opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing hospitality and leisure brand with an HQ in London and venues across the UK. Since their Series A they’ve been splitting internal IT away from product engineering, and they need a hands-on IT Manager to run it day to day. You’ll be the person staff call when something breaks, and the person who makes sure it doesn’t break again.
What you’ll be doing
- Run Tier 1 and Tier 2 support across HQ and venues, working to agreed service levels
- Own onboarding and offboarding, so access is live on day one and revoked on the last
- Administer Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Figma and the wider SaaS stack, including SSO and group-based access
- Manage Mac and Windows devices through MDM: enrolment, patching, encryption and asset records
- Enforce baseline security, including MFA, password management, phishing protection and least-privilege access
- Deliver IT readiness for each new venue opening from a repeatable checklist
- Automate repetitive admin with Google Apps Script, Python or similar
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in hands-on IT, including at least 1 year owning day-to-day IT for a growing business
- Strong Google Workspace admin skills, plus SSO and identity management across a SaaS stack
- MDM experience (Jamf, Kandji, Intune or Google endpoint management) across Mac and Windows
- Solid networking fundamentals: Wi-Fi, VLANs, firewalls, DHCP and DNS
- Experience running a ticketed support queue with clear service levels
- Based in the UK with the right to work, and able to travel regularly to venues
Bonus points if you have
- Multi-site experience in hospitality, retail or events
- Ubiquiti UniFi networking
- Cyber Essentials (or Plus) and GDPR experience
- Exposure to EPOS, inventory or scheduling systems
What’s on offer
- Hybrid working between the London office and venues
- A clearly scoped role: strategy, budget and product engineering sit with other people, so you can focus on running IT well
- A chance to build IT foundations at a business that’s scaling fast
- Seniority Level
- Mid-Senior level
- Industry
- Staffing and Recruiting
- Employment Type
- Full-time
- Skills
- MacPython (Programming Language)
