IT Security Analyst

Clients send us board papers, salary data and acquisition plans, and more of their contracts now ask how we protect that information. Wert Group needs an IT Security Analyst to watch our systems for threats and keep our security controls ready for those questions. It is a full-time role, done remotely from any place in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Review alerts from Microsoft Defender and our SIEM and follow up on suspicious activity
• Track vulnerabilities and patch status across laptops, servers and cloud services
• Check access rights and multi-factor authentication settings every quarter
• Answer client security questionnaires with the right evidence
• Keep our ISO 27001 documentation, risk register and policies current
• Run phishing simulations and short security sessions for employees

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or IT, or vocational training as Fachinformatiker
• One year or more in IT security, IT operations or a security operations center, internships included
• Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking basics

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Sentinel or another SIEM
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 or BSI IT-Grundschutz
• CompTIA Security+ or a similar certification
