Java developer in banking

We are hiring 3 experienced Java Developers for a long-term contract with a leading Dutch bank in Amsterdam. Start: ASAP. We have two profiles.

• Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain Microservices and REST APIs
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Drive cloud-native development and engineering best practices
• Design and build event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka
• Implement messaging, streaming and asynchronous processing patterns
• Develop APIs and integration platforms on Azure
• Build scalable, cloud-native applications
• Implement secure, scalable and high-performance solutions
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA and business stakeholders
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews and automation
• 6+ years of total IT experience, with 5+ years of hands-on Java development
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices, OR Azure and Kafka
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work independently in an onsite client environment (hybrid, Amsterdam)
• EU/EEA citizenship, or a valid Dutch residence permit that allows you to work without sponsorship
• Visa sponsorship is not available
• Background verification will be completed before onboarding
