Description

Java Developer - 6 month contract - Telford (Hybrid 2 days onsite)
I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Java Software Developer to join a busy team redeveloping legacy systems. You will work within an agile environment to develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based services that replace or improve legacy systems. The work centres on backend development, test coverage, and reliable service delivery.

Strong commercial experience with Java
Proven experience using Spring Boot for backend service development.
Practical experience writing unit tests with Junit.
Ability to work effectively in a Scrum or agile team environment.
Experience with any of the following is beneficial: JPA, Kibana, Maven, Mockito, AWS, GitLab, Helm, OpenAPI, SQL, or Shell Scripting.
