Junior Data Engineer

About the Role

I’m currently working with a growing business in Leatherhead who are looking for a Junior Data & AI Engineer to join their Technology team.

Candidate Profile

This is a genuine entry-level opportunity for someone who has either:

• some commercial experience
• completed a relevant internship / placement
• or is a recent graduate with strong hands-on experience across Power BI and Microsoft Fabric

Location

Leatherhead – 5 days onsite

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Building reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Working with Microsoft Fabric and wider data platforms
• Supporting automation and AI-focused projects
• Analysing data to produce management insight
• Helping improve internal processes and business efficiency
• Supporting existing data and automation solutions
• Ideally 3+ months’ relevant experience, including internships or placements
• Alternatively, a strong recent graduate with practical Power BI / Fabric experience
• Experience with Power BI
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
• Exposure to Python, SQL or similar
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering, Maths or similar
• Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in Data & AI
