Junior Site Software Engineer — Real-Time Simulations

RINA invites applications for a Junior Site Software Application Engineer to join the Digital Product & Platform Engineering division in VENEGONO (Varese). You will support licensed engineers in engineering projects, contribute to development, integration and testing of software components within complex simulation platforms.

The ideal candidate has a Master7s in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, entry-level experience, proficiency in Visual Studio Code, Microsoft Visual Studio, C++,

Assist licensed engineers in design calculations, drafting and design tasks. Prepare technical specifications, reports and inspections under supervision. Utilize computer-assisted engineering to code or integrate software and equipment. Perform field information collection, check installations and assist in maintenance. Adhere to safety procedures and ensure proper use of equipment and materials. Entry-level experience required. Understanding of engineering principles, methodologies and tools. Ability to analyze technical problems and implement solutions. Excellent communication skills in English and Italian. Proficiency in Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, C++, Git and Docker.
