Junior Software Engineer

Compensation: $50k – $100k

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team and help build reliable, user-friendly web applications. You’ll work in a small, collaborative product team, contributing to both front-end and back-end development using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.

In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers, learn best practices for writing clean and maintainable code, and gain hands-on experience delivering features in a production environment. You’ll also participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, sprint planning, and team discussions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end features and back-end APIs.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Create and maintain automated tests and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on implementation, architecture, and debugging.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, product demos, and team meetings.
• Follow development best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience or equivalent practical project experience.
• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript and at least one modern web framework.
• Basic understanding of front-end and back-end development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Good written English and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React, Next.js, or NestJS.
• Basic knowledge of Git, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
